TOUR DESCRIPTION

Book a river tubing tour in La Fortuna: ten minutes from the base to the Arenal River canyon, then a walk down through the forest to the water.

No paddling experience needed. You steer with your hands, after a safety briefing. Class 1 to 3 rapids, with calm stretches in between. Bilingual guides, gear and free hotel pickup are included.

Before the river, you share a Maleku cultural experience: their culture, medicine and traditions, told by members of the community themselves.

Rock walls and small waterfalls the whole way down, then the hot springs and a volcanic mud bath. From age 10.
